Part of a small collection of paintings painted in response to the Ardudwy Path, near Harlech in North Wales. This is an area I grew up in and is close to my heart. Here I walked the path after a deep frost and dusting of snow. The cool colours of the snow contrasted with the rusty bracken on the hillside and I loved the cloud peeping over the crest of the hill.
